You should use HIGH QUALITY batteries for all products that use non rechargeable batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries unless the device is made to take them.
Duracell or other Alkaline batteries are required as a standard for all non rechargeable batteries. Low quality batteries give poor results with reception or transmission of signals and often leak when they run low. We recommend DURACELL or PROCELL batteries.
Do bear in mind that we now have a mains power supply for this unit for indoors use only.
